Jamila Scott is currently Head Of A&R at Method Records. Previously as A&R at Polydor, she was instrumental in signing Years & Years (who recently scored a number one album), Joel Compass (the young artist/writer/producer has external cuts on Twigs, M.O and Cheryl Cole), and Lion Babe to the label. Jamila also runs tastemaker blog Cruel Rhythm and has curated a number of parties at SXSW in conjunction with Hype Machine that has seen the likes of Kelis, Tourist, Kehlani and Jungle perform. This year the Cruel Rhythm x SXSW party played host to Anderson Paak, Dua Lipa and SBTRKT.
